Heavy Duty Mechanic

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced truck and trailer mechanic for a Delta Client. In this role you will be an expert at repairing, maintaining and trouble shooting independently. This is a full time position with opportunity for overtime.

Duties:
- Identify the maintenance priorities related to mobile equipment.
-Perform thorough visual and physical inspections on all mobile equipment.
-Maintain the mobile equipment by following the documented best practices for that equipment.
-Diagnose problems related to mobile equipment.
-Replace defective or heavily worn parts and components.
-Adjust and tune equipment's components.
-Test and validate repairs.
-Must be comfortable working outdoors.
-Red Seal or Journeyman Heavy Duty mechanic certificates NOT required, but must have a combined 3-5 years experience repairing trucks or heavy equipment.
-Positive can-do attitude.
-Must be in good physical heath
-Comfortable and able to work with minimal supervision
-Should be a person who loves mechanical work and enjoys staying busy

Compensation: $32 - $45/hour (depends on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 - 50 hours a week (must have flexibility)
