As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our team at Westland. You will act as a trusted partner to our hiring managers and the People & Performance team, guiding our hiring strategies to support our growth and expansion. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $64,000 to $80,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

- 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in a service driven environment.
- You can juggle! Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage concurrent requisitions while maintaining a high level of customer service to internal and external stake holders.
- Interviewing skills: Ability to asses candidates, craft a compelling story and create strong candidate presentations.
- You are a natural communicator with a strong ability to develop trusting relationships with hiring managers, and to influence hiring decisions
- You have well-developed sourcing and headhunting skills including Boolean search, and the ability to source candidates across multiple platforms (including Linkedn Recruiter, Indeed, and other platforms) using a variety of sourcing strategies.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Well versed with various applicant tracking systems (Dayforce preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft office suite - (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Including MS teams.
- You have competency and comfortability in using AI - Chat GPT, Co-pilot etc throughout the sourcing and recruitment process, and in day-to-day operations.
- Bonus: Bilingualism in French
- Provide full-cycle recruitment support to assigned client groups, managing a high volume of requisitions efficiently and effectively.
- Execute our sourcing strategy: Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through active and targeted sourcing initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring a deep understanding of their recruitment needs through effective communication, collaboration, accountability and timeliness.
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process, reinforcing Westland's brand as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate on recruitment-related initiatives and cross-functional HR projects that enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Maximize visibility and reach by representing Westland at recruitment events and engaging with potential candidates.
- Embrace and advocate for AI-powered tools to streamline recruitment processes, improve candidate screening, and enable data-driven hiring decisions.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by embedding fair and inclusive practices throughout sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
