Job Description
Our client, a successful real estate company has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. The company culture is energetic and fast paced with a great emphasis on personal and professional development.
Our client is a large property developer and owner in Western Canada, with a mixed portfolio of properties. They are a well established firm, and have been in business for over 50 years, and are continuing to grow.
You will be based in the Lower Mainland, looking after a mixed portfolio of properties, primarily south of the Fraser River. You will be working closely with the Property Manager and be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the properties on a day to day basis from a building maintenance perspective. This will include looking after the routine maintenance of the building systems of the properties, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Some hands on work will be required, but most of the routine maintenance and troubleshooting is outsourced to contractors and you will be responsible for overseeing and managing them to ensure they are providing a high level of workmanship and service to tenants.
This is a very autonomous role and you should be a self starter who can work independently and be highly efficient and organized. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience within a maintenance role, have outstanding customer service ethic, excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic disposition.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want a career rather than a job and the company offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, and are looking for a new and challenging opportunity, please send your resume in Word format to [email protected] with the position you are applying for in the subject line.
Thank you in advance for your interest. We regret that we can only respond to candidates chosen for interview. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.
